What is Leadership Institute?

The Child Care Aware® of America Leadership Institute (formerly known as the State Network Council Leadership Institute/Membership Council Leadership Institute) was created to enhance the future of the child care resource and referral (CCR&R) community by developing the skills of current and future leaders in the industry.


This fall, attend the Leadership Institute as leaders who serve our nation's youngest learners gather to engage in dialogue about critical issues facing our the future of child care  and early learning today. The Institute will stimulate innovative solutions that will frame our collective vision for the future.

The Leadership Institute is particularly relevant to CEOs, executive directors, leaders, and emerging leaders at:

  • State Networks

  • Local or regional CCR&Rs

  • CCR&R parent agencies

  • Strategic partners
